Get Cooking with 4-H
Welcome to Year 4 of Food Fun 4-H! We’re back for another delicious year of exploring healthy recipes, learning new kitchen skills, and discovering how food connects to fun, family, and 4-H. Each session is hands-on, creative, and full of tasty learning experiences — perfect for young chefs ready to explore the world of food!
Each month, youth will cook at least two recipes from the provided packet and complete a short report by answering three questions: I liked…, I wish…, and I wonder…. In addition, participants will submit two photos—one of them preparing the dish and another of their family sharing the meal. Upon completing these tasks, participants will receive a kitchen utensil kit for the next month’s recipes.
This free program runs from October to April. If a month’s requirements aren’t met, families can simply try again the following month. While there is no cost to participate, families will need to supply their own groceries.
