This week I would like to talk about my experiences I had rodeoing for the University of Wyoming. I have been a member of the team the last three years and participated in team roping and calf roping. Overall I have really enjoyed my college rodeo experiences. We competed against 13 other schools from the three state area of Nebraska, Wyoming, and Colorado, having five Fall rodeos and five Spring rodeos. Our region was very competitive with a large number of kids in each event. I really enjoyed the rodeo atmosphere and becoming friends with kids from many other schools. It’s a way for many great athletes to continue to compete after high school as well as win money. I had a very fun experience and will surely miss it.
