Staying busy but also having lots of fun.

Hello everyone! School is underway and this semester has been very busy but very fun so far! Food science club has been doing plenty of club events such as meetings and caterings, and it has been so great to get to know the other club members through these fun activities. I just made it through my first wave of tests in Animal Breeding and Principles of Meat Science. Boy oh boy, those were tough, but I know that the information I am learning is very pertinent to my future career and very interesting at the present moment. I highly recommend taking one of these classes if you are at all interested in the livestock production industry. I love my meat judging class, and as the semester goes on I find myself really wanting to participate on the team next semester. With all the traveling, fun competitions, and industry skills I will learn I just can’t wait! I’ve also been doing plenty of work at the Y Cross Ranch on the weekends which gives me a chance to broaden my knowledge and apply all the things I am learning in the classroom this year. This semester is going great! Staying busy but also having lots of fun, and I hope you all are out there doing the same!
