The transition from summer into the new school year has been quite a whirlwind. I am taking a variety of classes, including Interior Design II, History of Architecture, and several Communication classes. I’m very excited about the design classes I’m taking for my minor in Interior Design. I’m already working on some very cool projects and learning a lot about the different computer programs used in architectural design.
This summer, I had the opportunity to work in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management as their communication intern. I did several projects for the department, one of which included overhauling the content for the undergraduate pages, (feel free to check it out!). At the conclusion of the summer, I was pleased to find out that I had the opportunity to work for ESM part-time during the school year. Currently, I am compiling the department’s Fall 2013 newsletter. This has been such an amazing undertaking, and it has truly been such a rewarding experience.
