Yet another spring break has come and gone! I know that several of my last blogs have talked about trips I have taken, but I am going to talk about one more. I spent the last half of my spring break and the first part of this week in Texas for the National Intercollegiate Meat Animal Evaluation Contest. This contest basically combines meat judging and livestock judging into a huge two day contest. We evaluated breeding stock, young animals, market ready animals, and carcasses over the two days. Not only was this a fun contest, but lots of meat industry leaders such as Tyson and Cargill come to this contest to talk to students about internships and potential jobs. I would definitely recommend participating on this team to anyone who was even the slightest bit interested.

I ended the week catching up on homework and exams. As graduation is coming up just around the corner, I have been thinking about all the great experiences I have had at my time at the University of Wyoming. I have made friends and memories that will last a lifetime. I would just like to point out that the College of Ag and Natural Resources is very supportive of their students and I am thankful for the opportunities that they have provided me.

GO POKES!
Wade
